A fusion of two beings, of two names…Avedis and Eva, AVeVA is a story of celebration, color, and creativity à la française.

The brand is young, but the savoir-faire of owner Avedis Temelssiz in the realm of Haute Joaillerie dates back nearly a quarter of a century, since he has been creating fine jewelry in his Parisian atelier for some of the world’s most respected names. Four years ago, he created AVeVA to express his vision of jewelry in a more personal manner, selecting a name that evokes the long-time support of his wife and muse, Eva, who is always at his side.

With nature as a constant source of inspiration, AVeVA jewelry ranges from playful charms to superb pieces such as The Tear of Amphitrite. (Legend has it that the Greek goddess Amphitrite shed tears when she refused the marriage offer of Poseidon, the god of the sea.) This one-of-a-kind piece showcases an exceptional 71.43-carat blue tear-shaped sapphire, encircled by a wave of platinum set with 55 diamonds, on a platinum chain with 89 diamonds, totaling 5.66 carats in all.

With Avedis’ standards of high quality, the charms are as lovely on the underneath side as they are on the top. Small openings let the back of the gemstones show through while the gold is skillfully carved into forms relating to the theme of the charm, for example, starfish are depicted for the octopus charm, fur is created for the panda, or scales are reproduced for the fish charms.

Since its creation in 2002, AVeVA creations have been presented at domestic salons and at international trade fairs, such as BaselWorld, JCK Las Vegas, IJT Tokyo, IJM Moscow, and IJD Dubai. The jewelry is sold through fine retailers around the world and is also showcased at the Hotel Ritz Paris boutique on the Place Vendôme.

With a high regard for quality and under the watchful eye of Avedis, the skilled jewelers at the AVeVA workshops combine age-old artisanal traditions with the latest in advanced tools and equipment to create, entirely in-house, the brand’s own collections as well as a certain number of custom pieces. A fusion of tradition and technology, creativity and craftsmanship, AVeVA’s Rising Star is certainly shining brightly.
